Traveling is the secret of our good spirits

My husband and I like to get acquainted with new places and new people. Actually we are called explorers by our friends and relatives. A few years ago we investigated Alaska, South Dakota and North Dakota - unique spots on the earth, I should say. Seeing unfamiliar places and knowing history of them is a challenge for everyone who likes to receive new impressions. This way we are trying to learn the origin of our country, its nature and people. Traveling broadens our minds and we feel stronger and wiser with new knowledge. It is fun, isn't it?

We landed in Honolulu Airport and rented a car to find our place of destination. Maunalua bay is located in Hawaii Kai on Oahu south shore and seems to be protected with mountains - its name really means "two mountains". However, we have learned that this place is actually good for boating and fishing but not for swimming. It appeared that the ocean bottom is shallow and rocky in this place. Nevertheless we decided to stay here - we are positive towards any obstacles. We got discount trip and went off to take pictures and admire the views.

We stayed at a rental condo only for $30 per night in Oahu and made inquiries about our destination. Our neighbors were young men - actually students of medical university. It was great - I was scared of any pain - and having future doctors was perfect. I was lucky to have such neighbors because on the first day of our being on the island (we were hiking along the bay) I sprained my right leg and couldn't move it. However, a girl next door to us saved me surely - she did know her business perfectly!
